Hmmm, I am amazed at your in depth plot knowledge ;. My personal favourite is Cliff Tumble. A small boy I know has told me about another recent Tumble character. The name escapes me as I always zone out while watching Mr T. There might be a Chef Tumble. And once there was a baby.

But whose baby? I hate to think. That made me giggle…. My girls have both loved Mr Tumble….. We still watch Gigglebiz every now and again and I find myself laughing along x. F used to love the big guy too, before Pat and now Cars. Thanks Katie. My daughter never watched Mr T, but I think my son loves it because he has some hearing issues. Haha — get Cameron on the phone stat. Who cares if he is trying to stop Scotland leaving the fold. These are the issues of the day.

And yes where are his parents? Tumble has a red nose. Justin does not! What is wrong with you??? Hee hee! This really made me giggle Elfa! Xx ps. I reckon the Tumbles are definitely on the run fake name much?! He collects antique dodgem cars and has a choo-choo train noise for his ringtone. Mr Tumble was conceived in for Something Special , a programme for and featuring children with learning disabilities.

He was the first clown who could juggle, unicycle and use Makaton a system of signing and symbols used to assist language development and the show immediately appealed far beyond its remit. Children of all abilities respond to this unwavering gale-force of benign energy, happy to don ill-fitting yellow trousers and lark about in damp English fields for their distraction. And they really like the in-between bits, when Fletcher, as himself, simply kneels down with his young guests for a bit of a chat.

Twelve years after the programme began, he still receives daily letters from parents whose children have spoken for the first time after watching Mr Tumble. So The Tale of Mr Tumble is worth heeding, and not just because its run will involve Makaton-signing choirs made up of local school children.
